Known Problems - Macintosh:
Out of memory message:
This problem may occur when trying to play QuickTime movies or animations
after extended periods of play. To resolve this problem, you can either:
- Save your current game, quit the game, then restart the game and
load the saved game.
- Increase the amount of memory allocated to the game. Open the
"Chateau" folder and click once on the "chateau" icon to select
it. Then select "Get Info" from the File menu. Click on the pop
up menu and choose "Memory". Enter a value greater than 16592K into
the Preferred Size.
Objects are lost or disappear upon acquiring them:
This phenomenon can occur after loading a saved game via the control
panel. If you find that your object inventory is behaving strangely
you should reload your last saved game via the entry screen rather than
the control panel. To do this, open the tool bar, click the quit button
and restart a new game from the quit screen. Click on the intro animations
to bypass them, then Load your saved game from the control panel.
